Kings Point was a corporation in Jersey City (New Jersey). During the 70s, it was the time of an explosion of new calculators, cheap, and mostly imported from Japan, Korea, or other Asian countries. When the USA made a model, it was quickly copied and manufactured cheaper by other countries, including Japan, Russia, etc.
Kings Point sold a full range of calculators at that time, with affordable prices. One example is in this ad, from popular science 1976:
